Earlier this year I decided that I wanted to read more books by and about artists. I've read quite a few of them this year (the "gift" from hospitals, waiting rooms and doctors' offices sometimes can be one of additional time where and when you find yourself waiting and in need of quieting down your brain.) I am going to post my favorites here soon.

I finished Rothko's Writings on Art book today which I found to be an interesting glimpse into the mind of an artist whom I knew absolutely nothing about until I opened the book. I'm starting the book written by his son tonight.
Looking at the pile of books by my bed, my intentions of reading more books by and about artists will, thankfully, continue in 2017. Any recommendations?
